Dress Up

Clothing, weather and outfit choices

Task 1 of 8

Snowy and cold

Choose clothes to dress your person.

Tap a piece of clothing to put it on. Tap it again to take it off.

Solved: 0 of 8

Read the task aloud, make your choice, then explain your answer in English.

Use it in your lesson

In “Dress for the weather”, look through the window and choose an outfit for snow, rain, sunshine or a cool wind. More than one outfit can work. These are imaginary lesson scenarios. Use “Clothing practice” to follow the original clothing instructions.

Choose Man or Woman, then dress the person by tapping the clothing pictures. Clothes can be combined independently. Use “I am wearing…” to describe the outfit.

Weather mode starts with short A1 clues and a small wardrobe. A2 adds warm headwear and more choices. B1 asks you to protect yourself from rain and explain the outfit. B2 adds longer clues and attention to your neck, footwear and things to leave off. Each round has eight tasks. Clothing practice moves from single A1 words to longer B2 instructions.

The colours belong to the pictured clothes. There is no timer: read the task, try an outfit, check it and explain the choice.
